Before The Orchard
Greyhound Sanctuary was so named, a lot of fostering of greyhounds for other
rescues took place here.
One of those dogs was Tiny, a sad little scrap of a greyhound puppy, maybe 6
months old, who had been picked up as a stray and brought to a Dublin
pound.
Tiny was extremely thin, had major hair loss due to mange, and was in general
feeble, low in spirit and the vet said was just days from death when he was
picked up.
The other rescue held him for 3 weeks before he was brought here in late
December 2004.
By May 2005, he had blossomed into a most handsome little man with a charming
and affectionate personality, and was adopted by a couple in England and their
other greyhound.
Today, that little scrap of a dog is a most loved and doted-on pet, enjoying
life to the fullest!
