Álainn arrived here in great pain with severe burns to the tattoo area of her ears. She has since been adopted by a woman who has had greyhounds as pets for 28 years. After speaking with her and meeting her, she clearly had the knowledge, patience and general empathy to know how to take on a dog with such trauma. Álainn was in her arms within moments after her new owner's arrival. It was very touching, and it seemed that Álainn knew. She is now living in the countryside in Ireland
