UPDATE: Tango has developed into a very biddable and almost placid boy.
He has been neutered and is settling very nicely.
He has also become very good on the leash, and will make an attentive and devoted pet.

Tango is a striking looking medium-large 2 year old who was brought into a Dublin pound with his mother, Jenny, to be put to sleep.
The two were whisked away at the 11th hour, and so have started a new life.
Tango is proving to be a sensible, happy, and cooperative boy who is getting along with all the dogs here.
Bouncy as he appears to be, he does not jump up, though is very receptive to people and getting cuddled.
Tango needs some leash training, as he pulls a good bit and is somewhat directionless, but in the car he is very well behaved.
He loves to run and play with the other dogs, but does not get carried away.
Tango will be getting neutered next week, and so will be available for adoption after that.
Though he has yet to be exposed to children and small dogs, it appears that he will adapt to home and family life very easily,
as he is a very relaxed sort of dog.
