Tammy
Big Brus and Tammy are living in a lovely new house with a big garden outside and two cats inside!
Happy with their new mom and dad, shy Tammy has come out of her shell and leaps in and out of the car,
and Brus is very busy making sure everyone knows when it's time to feed him!
Brus and Tammy finally went to their permanent home together here in Ireland, to live with Jan and Gary and two cats. A lovely pair, Brus and Tammy's strengths and weaknesses perfectly complement each other, and they will make perfect companions.
Tammy is a medium/large greyhound girl who is 3 and a half years old, though she is very puppy-like in her movements. Gentle and a little shy, Tammy gets along with all the dogs here, large and small, and has a lovely glistening coat, and a particularly long graceful tail.
Housetrained and otherwise well-mannered, Tammy is very good in the car, though on the leash she has shown a fear of moving cars, and so we are working on that with her.
She has not yet been exposed to children, small dogs or cats, but with her gentle nature, children and small dogs should be no problem. She is a good candidate to start getting socialized with cats, too.
She loves to carry things in her mouth, and is often seen trotting here and there with a toy of some sort....though my eyeglasses were recently found in one of the dog beds here.....hmmmmm....anyway, Tammy is ready for a home with responsible people who have the patience to finish off giving her that last bit of confidence!
Tammy is not intimidated by larger dogs,
nor does she have a problem sharing cuddles with another dog!
Tammy does not "jump" up on people, but sometimes might quietly, powerfully, raise herself up on her back legs to reach you for a kiss - here, you can see she has one front paw free and the other draped over Wendy's arm, light as a feather.
Tammy is a stunning, beautifully proportioned lady with a lovely soft and shining coat
Tammy insists you adopt her AND her rubber piggie......
