Murphy
Only 18 months old, Murphy is a calm and easygoing lad who is as handsome as he is biddable. Recently arrived, Murphy settled right into the group with no problems at all, and has shown himself to be an affectionate and attentive boy. Murphy has shown some signs of being good with cats, and so has been undergoing some cat-socialising, quite successfully so far! Good on the leash, quiet in the car, this youngster has years of companionship and love in front of him for the right person or family.
Murphy continues to improve every day, getting a little less clutzy and clueless and a bit more coordinated and clever (clever alliteration there, dontcha think?). He arrived here being not much more than a big puppy, running around with a sort of careless abandon, but now he has become a lot more aware of looking out for himself as well as other dogs. Good on the leash, housetrained, excellent with other dogs, quite adaptable to different situations, happy and sociable with people but not in your face, our sensitive Murphy will make a particularly dedicated companion for the right person or family.
Murphy has been adopted by a family in Ireland with two young children.
He is settling in well to his new home and is proving to be a great companion for the children and their friends.
He has chosen his most comfortable chair - one with a dual aspect window - ensuring he can see what is going on outside. - When he is awake!
