Marie
This gentle older girl with the huge sad eyes has been through a lot in her life, as evidenced by very worn feet and an old scar on her underside. Taken in about a year ago by another rescue, Orchard offered Marie and her roomie Emer a place here as no one seemed interested in adopting them. We don't know what poor Marie has been through, but she is afraid of people, though she really enjoys being cuddled. She was in very poor condition when first rescued last year. She makes a lot of eye contact, is very good with other dogs and in the car and on a leash. Little Marie now needs a quiet life with someone who will be kind to her. She is a darling little old lady who will be a very loyal companion.
When Marie is running loose outside, she is grinning from ear to ear the whole time. A bit more weight and she will be beautiful.
