Jess
Jess is a very little lady, pretty as a picture and very good natured. Yes, she is indeed blue with a lot of white on her, and she is 6 years young. She has blended very nicely into a group of 4 other lady greyhounds and 2 males, and loves the running and playing. In the house she is quick to settle down and seeks attention without demanding it. She is a clever little monkey, and during her first week here she figured out that the big black bin in the scullery is where the dog food is kept....tiny as she is, she actually pulled the bin by the handle - loaded with dog food - and dragged it into the main kitchen. She did not knock it over or chew on it, but simply - 3 separate times - dragged it in. The first two times I could not figure out how it got there, and the third time she was caught. Cheeky! A little Flash on the handles of the bin put an end to that! With her new-found freedom she seems to be having a second puppyhood, and hopefully that will wind down in the coming weeks. Jess came from an owner-trainer where she was regularly exposed to terriers and small children, and was very good with both. Needless to say, she is also very good on the leash and in the car, and will be an appreciative and pretty little companion!
